Can I get an AMEN?!
Our home study is complete…finalized…and official! It landed on our doorstop
this evening! It has also made its rounds to DSS and should have arrived at
Immigration this afternoon too!!
This is a huge milestone!
There is so much thanks to give so many people who helped pull it together!
THANK YOU…Mom, Carolyn, Jessica, Laura, Doug, Amedisys Family: Dawn, Rachael,
Carol; Lowes Family: Dale, Jennifer; and Dr. Dawson! And of course, thank you
to Levacy, our social worker – who conducted our interviews and wrote the 15
page thing!
On my recent trip to Guatemala, when I told one of the team members we were adopting (who has also adopted a baby),
her response was… “CONGRATS, You’re Paper Pregnant!” I have more paperwork and
documents than I can count, and honestly I don’t know how I’m actually keeping
up with all of it! I wish I could say the paper chase is done…but now onto the
dossier!
